QA Tester for FinTech Solutions | Remote Position

As a vital quality guardian, you'll ensure our custom software meets the highest standards through meticulous testing methodologies and collaborative problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities

- Execute comprehensive manual testing protocols across our financial software ecosystem.

- Analyze, develop, and refine test scripts and checklists to ensure thorough coverage.

- Collaborate cross-functionally with developers, analysts, and QA specialists.

- Design and prepare diverse test data for various scenarios.

- Verify calculations in financial modules for accuracy according to business rules.

- Create detailed test reports with actionable insights.

- Manage defects through their entire lifecycle using industry-standard tools.

- Maintain and enhance the team's knowledge repository (Confluence, Kaiten).

- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies and quality improvement initiatives.

- Validate integrations with external financial systems and payment gateways.

Required Skills and Qualifications

- 3+ years of professional software testing experience.

- Strong understanding of software development and QA methodologies.

- Demonstrated expertise in test design techniques (equivalence partitioning, boundary value analysis).

- Proficiency with team backlog management tools: Kaiten, Jira.

- Hands-on experience with MS SQL and PostgreSQL database testing.

- Experience writing and executing SQL queries for test validation.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in remote teams.

- Experience working in Agile development environments.

Nice to Have

- Knowledge of financial markets and trading fundamentals.

- Experience with automated testing using C# and Specflow.

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools (Jenkins).

- Experience with TestIT or similar test management platforms.

- Knowledge of log analysis using OpenSearch/Kibana.

- ISTQB certification or equivalent testing credentials.

- Experience testing financial or banking applications.

- Understanding of financial compliance frameworks (PCI DSS, SOX).
