Key Responsibilities

- Orchestrate daily HR operations, including implementation and maintenance of policies, procedures, and processes across multiple international locations.

- Manage end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local regulations while coordinating with finance teams.

- Support all phases of the employee lifecycle—from talent acquisition and onboarding to development and offboarding—creating positive experiences at every touchpoint.

- Implement and coordinate global HR initiatives that foster employee engagement and retention, including wellness programs and professional development opportunities.

- Provide expert HR consultation to team members at all organizational levels, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly while maintaining strict confidentiality.

- Monitor developments in employment legislation across relevant jurisdictions to ensure full compliance and mitigate organizational risk.

- Serve as primary liaison with external contractors, vendors, and service providers for HR-related matters, including benefits administration.

- Handle operational office tasks requiring discretion and confidentiality, such as maintaining employee records and managing sensitive documentation.

- Deliver specialized HR support to international offices, accommodating different time zones and cultural considerations to ensure inclusive practices.

- Contribute to HR analytics and reporting, helping leadership make data-driven decisions about workforce planning and talent development.


Required Skills and Qualifications

- Minimum 2+ years of HR experience in the Netherlands, with exposure to international HR practices and global workforce management.

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field.

- Exceptional problem-solving abilities with a resourceful approach to challenges in a fast-paced environment.

- Strong critical thinking skills and analytical capabilities for data-driven decision-making and process improvement.

- Demonstrated success in building and maintaining professional relationships across all organizational levels and diverse cultural backgrounds.

- Proficiency in modern HRIS platforms (such as Workday, BambooHR, or SAP SuccessFactors) and MS Office applications.

- Comprehensive knowledge of Dutch employment laws, GDPR compliance, and current HR best practices.

- Fluent communication skills in Dutch, French, and English (both written and verbal) with the ability to adapt communication style to different audiences.

- Experience with remote team collaboration tools including Microsoft Teams, Slack, Zoom, and project management platforms.

- Meticulous attention to detail, particularly regarding confidential information and documentation accuracy.

- Ability to work autonomously while supporting a distributed team across multiple time zones.


Nice to Have

- Previous experience engaging with employees across multiple countries and cultures, particularly in Europe and North America.

- Working knowledge of additional European languages.

- CIPD qualification, SHRM certification, or equivalent HR credentials.

- Experience in the technology or software development industry, particularly within agile environments.

- Knowledge of project management methodologies including Agile or Scrum.

- Familiarity with diversity and inclusion initiatives in a global context.

- Experience with employee engagement platforms and digital HR transformation.
