Project Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct thorough functional testing with meticulous documentation in detailed test reports.

- Perform comprehensive client-server API testing to verify data integrity and system interactions.

- Develop robust test plans and scenarios from scratch based on technical requirements or developer input.

- Maintain effective communication channels with development teams throughout project lifecycles.

- Assign and prioritize bug-fixing tasks for developers, tracking issues through to resolution.

- Investigate and reproduce user-reported issues from technical support channels.

- Execute manual testing procedures with precise documentation in project management systems.

- Analyze patterns in user errors to identify underlying systemic issues and recommend solutions.

- Test and support company web services to ensure consistent performance and reliability.

- Conduct thorough regression testing prior to releases to maintain platform stability.

- Verify defect resolutions through confirmation testing procedures.

Required Qualifications:

- Minimum 4+ years of professional experience in Manual QA engineering, with 2+ years at Middle+ or Senior level.

- Demonstrated expertise in functional testing methodologies and API testing techniques.

- Proficiency in creating comprehensive test documentation including test plans, cases, and scenarios.

- Experience with modern bug tracking and project management systems (JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar).

- Strong understanding of web application architecture and client-server communication models.

- Exceptional attention to detail with advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

- Experience with various testing techniques including boundary analysis and equivalence partitioning.

- Self-motivation and ability to work effectively in a remote environment with minimal supervision.

- Excellent communication skills with proficiency in English for team collaboration.

- Experience testing educational platforms or content-rich applications is advantageous.

Nice to Have:

- Knowledge of Java (versions 11/17) programming fundamentals for better comprehension of application logic.

- Experience with Selenide (version 6.x) and JUnit 5 testing frameworks for potential automation initiatives.

- Familiarity with performance testing tools, particularly Apache JMeter 5.5+.

- Working knowledge of SQL for database validation testing.

- Experience in Agile development environments (Scrum, Kanban).

- Proficiency with REST API concepts and testing methodologies.
