Key Responsibilities - Design and implement scalable, high-performance networks leveraging AWS cloud infrastructure and physical data centers using LAN, WAN, VPN, and firewall technologies. - Architect network solutions that balance security, performance, and cost-effectiveness across hybrid environments. - Monitor network performance, security, and integrity using enterprise-class monitoring systems like Zabbix and DynaTrace. - Establish proactive monitoring protocols to identify and address potential issues before they impact services. - Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues across cloud and on-premises environments using service desk systems. - Develop infrastructure as code using Terraform with Terragrunt to ensure consistency, reliability, and version control. - Create modular, reusable Terraform components that adhere to best practices and company standards. - Automate routine tasks through scripting and establish comprehensive monitoring to ensure operational efficiency. - Build CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure deployment to minimize manual intervention. - Implement and test comprehensive security measures including access authentication, network segmentation, and disaster recovery protocols. - Conduct regular security audits and penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities. - Collaborate with internal teams and Customer Service to address technical challenges and provide expert guidance. - Create and maintain detailed technical documentation for all infrastructure components including network diagrams and runbooks. - Propose and implement improvements to enhance network performance, capacity, and scalability - Manage and optimize CDN configurations, DNS settings, and SSL certificates to ensure optimal performance and security. Required Skills & Experience - 6+ years of experience in IT administration roles with a focus on infrastructure management and network engineering. - 3+ years of hands-on experience in network administration and architecture across geographically distributed environments. - Proven track record of designing and maintaining complex networking infrastructures. - Minimum 1 year of cloud networking experience, preferably with AWS medium to large-scale deployments including VPCs, Transit Gateways, Direct Connect, and PrivateLink. - Experience with AWS networking services such as Route 53, CloudFront, AWS Shield, and AWS WAF. - Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools, particularly Terraform and Terragrunt for managing cloud resources. - Strong understanding of communication protocols and dynamic routing protocols, including BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP. - Advanced Linux administration skills with command-line proficiency in distributions such as Ubuntu, CentOS, and Amazon Linux 2. - Demonstrated experience with network hardening and implementing security best practices according to industry standards. - Expertise in access control models and comprehensive network security measures including firewall rule management and IDS/IPS systems. - Proficiency with network diagnostic and monitoring tools such as Wireshark, tcpdump, Zabbix, or DynaTrace. - Experience working with Service Desk systems like Jira Service Desk, ZenDesk, or Solarwinds for incident management. - Working knowledge of CDN providers (e.g., Cloudflare, Akamai), DNS management, SSL certificates, and domain management. - Experience with load balancing technologies including AWS ELB/ALB/NLB. - English language proficiency at B2 level (Upper-Intermediate) or higher for effective communication across global teams.
