UI/UX Designer: Design System Specialist for Web & Mobile Projects

You'll be instrumental in creating a scalable, consistent design system that will serve as the foundation for an innovative digital platform. This project requires a strategic approach to design architecture, component creation, and documentation that ensures seamless implementation across multiple platforms and devices.

Key Responsibilities

- Architect and develop a comprehensive design system from concept to implementation.

- Create and maintain component libraries using Figma's advanced features.

- Design intuitive, accessible user interfaces for both desktop and mobile platforms.

- Establish design patterns, style guides, and documentation for development teams

- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and user needs.

- Conduct user research and usability testing to validate design decisions.

- Ensure visual consistency across all digital touchpoints.

- Present design concepts and rationales to clients and internal teams.

- Iterate designs based on feedback and user testing insights.

- Stay current with emerging UI/UX trends and best practices.

Required Skills

- 5+ years of professional experience in UI/UX design for web and mobile applications.

- Advanced proficiency in Figma, including expert knowledge of auto layout, variants, and component systems.

- Demonstrated experience creating and implementing design systems for multi-platform applications.

- Strong understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first approaches.

- Excellent knowledge of typography, color theory, and visual hierarchy.

- Experience with user research methodologies and usability testing.

- Ability to translate complex requirements into intuitive user interfaces.

- Portfolio showcasing previous design system work and component libraries.

- Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate design decisions.

- Experience working in cross-functional teams with developers and product managers.
