● Developed strategic technical and channel partnerships, including establishing Micros as a channel sales partner for all iRiS products.
● Worked directly with Microsoft in the UK and Redmond to develop a bespoke Windows 8 application for the Microsoft FirstWave program the objective to deliver a bespoke in-room tablet application for Mandarin Oriental Hotels. The project was completed on time, on budget and established as brand standard and is currently being deployed across all 27 Mandarin properties worldwide.
● Played a lead role in securing and managing a contract with Whitebread plc UK, the UK’s largest hospitality group, for a new technology focused brand ‘The Hub’. Requirement was to develop a middleware solution for multi-vendor platform communication and integration abstracting vendor interface development and allowing software vendors to development against a single API.

● During an internship at a London based event management company, I successfully developed a software solution to solve existing challenges in event registration and admission management.

● Maintained a role as Managing Director and lead architecture and programmer until transferring responsibility to in the house development team during the adoption of .NET platform in the late 1990’s and development of web based hosted solution of the core platform.
● Dataco pioneered the use of bar-code technology for event attendance tracking and exhibitor lead retrieval management.
● Responsible for introducing web based access to scan leads allowing marketing and sales departments to optimize event attendance by communication and managing leads in real-time and during events.
● I left the business after successfully transferring to a competitor and completing a six-month earn out contract.
