My responsibilities: - Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers, to understand project requirements and define test strategies. - Designing, executing, and maintaining automated test suites for different software applications and systems. - Mentoring and providing guidance to junior QA engineers in test automation/manual best practices and techniques. - Developing and maintaining documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test scripts, to ensure comprehensive test coverage. - Writing UI tests based on test-case documents. - Writing API tests using Swagger contracts. - Testing public APIs using Postman. - Creating detailed bug reports with clear steps to reproduce the issues. - Actively participating in team meetings to provide updates, share insights, and collaborate on project progress.
