About The Role

We're looking for a skilled frontend developer to join our team who excels at typesetting and implementing flawless user interfaces. You'll work with Django (Wagtail) and Jinja2 for backend integration while utilizing PostCSS and Tailwind CSS for frontend styling. This position requires someone who can balance technical excellence with efficiency, ensuring responsive designs that work seamlessly across all devices.


Key Responsibilities

- Implement pixel-perfect, responsive, and adaptive layouts based on design specifications.

- Develop and maintain frontend components using PostCSS and Tailwind CSS (version 3.3+).

- Create templates using Django (Wagtail CMS 5.0+) with Jinja2 templating engine.

- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness for all implementations.

- Make independent technical decisions regarding implementation approaches.

- Optimize frontend performance for speed, accessibility, and user experience.

- Collaborate with designers to accurately translate visual concepts into functional interfaces.

- Implement responsive designs that adapt seamlessly to different screen sizes and devices.

- Troubleshoot and resolve frontend issues effectively and efficiently.

- Meet project deadlines, including occasionally working within tight timeframes.


Required Skills

- Proven experience (3+ years) with Django framework and Wagtail CMS implementation.

- Expert knowledge of Jinja2 templating language and its integration with Django.

- Advanced proficiency in PostCSS and utility-first frameworks like Tailwind CSS.

- Strong understanding of responsive design principles and pixel-perfect implementation.

- Experience with modern CSS features including Grid, Flexbox, and CSS variables.

- Ability to write clean, maintainable HTML, CSS, and JavaScript code.

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

- Experience with version control systems (Git).

- Knowledge of web accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1+).


Nice to Have

- Experience with headless CMS architectures.

- Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks like React, Vue, or Alpine.js.

- Understanding of Django REST framework.

- Experience with CSS animations and transitions.

- Familiarity with design tools such as Figma or Adobe XD.

- Experience with performance optimization techniques for web applications.

- Knowledge of SEO best practices for frontend implementation.

- Experience with automated testing for frontend components.
