Key Responsibilities - Design and develop robust PHP-based backend services and RESTful APIs for our travel planning platform. - Architect efficient database structures and optimize queries to manage complex travel itineraries and booking data. - Refactor and modernize existing codebase using PHP 8.x features and contemporary development practices. - Configure and fine-tune Nginx with PHP-FPM settings to achieve optimal performance metrics and reliability. - Collaborate with frontend specialists to ensure seamless integration between user interfaces and backend services. - Implement comprehensive security protocols to safeguard sensitive user information and payment data. - Participate in regular code reviews and maintain detailed technical documentation. - Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical challenges within the reservation system architecture. - Develop and maintain integrations with third-party travel service providers and payment gateways. - Implement automated testing procedures to ensure code quality and system stability. Required Skills and Experience - Minimum 3+ years of professional PHP backend development experience. - Proficiency in modern PHP (8.0+) with thorough understanding of language features and industry best practices. - Strong expertise in at least one major PHP framework (Laravel 10.x, Symfony 6.x, CodeIgniter 4, etc.). - In-depth knowledge of object-oriented programming principles, design patterns, and SOLID principles. - Demonstrated experience configuring and optimizing web servers (Nginx + PHP-FPM). - Comfortable navigating Linux/Unix environments and utilizing command-line tools efficiently. - Proficient with Git version control systems and collaborative development workflows. - Experience with relational databases (MySQL 8.x, PostgreSQL) and query optimization techniques. - Practical knowledge of RESTful API design, implementation, and documentation. - Basic English proficiency sufficient for technical communication and understanding specifications.
