SAP PP Expert | S/4HANA Production Planning Specialist | Remote

Our client—a global leader in manufacturing technologies—seeks an accomplished SAP PP Expert to spearhead implementation projects for premier consumer goods organizations worldwide. In this role, you'll leverage your comprehensive S/4HANA knowledge to transform complex manufacturing operations while enjoying the flexibility of a fully remote position. Key Responsibilities - Architect end-to-end configuration and deployment of advanced Production Planning functionalities within cutting-edge S/4HANA environments. - Design and optimize mission-critical production planning components, including. - Consult with diverse stakeholders—from C-suite to shop floor—on production planning best practices in process manufacturing. - Create seamless connectivity between PP and adjacent supply chain modules. - Identify transformative opportunities to enhance manufacturing efficiency through advanced SAP PP capabilities. - Design targeted training sessions, empowering client teams to leverage implemented PP functionalities effectively. Required Skills & Experience - Successfully delivered at least 2 complete SAP implementation projects with significant PP components—from blueprint to go-live. - Demonstrated experience implementing SAP Production Planning within modern S/4HANA environments (2021 or 2022 release). - Substantial hands-on experience applying SAP PP in continuous, batch, or hybrid process manufacturing contexts. - Proven track record working with consumer goods manufacturers—from food and beverage to personal care. - Expert-level configuration abilities across the PP module, including. - Experience leading cross-functional workstreams within complex implementation initiatives. - Comprehensive knowledge of integrated supply chain processes. - Exceptional English communication skills—both written and verbal. - Strong analytical capabilities with demonstrated problem-solving experience for complex manufacturing challenges. - Familiarity with modern SAP implementation methodologies (SAP Activate preferred). Nice to Have - Experience with SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) integration. - Knowledge of SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP) or Advanced Planning and Optimization (APO). - Familiarity with SAP Manufacturing Integration and Intelligence (MII). - Exposure to predictive maintenance integrations and Industry 4.0 concepts. - Background in multiple consumer goods sub-sectors (FMCG, CPG). - Experience with GMP-regulated manufacturing environments. - SAP PP or S/4HANA certifications (2022 or newer). - Knowledge of Fiori applications for production management.
