Senior Node.js Engineer | AWS Lambda & TypeScript Expert | Remote

Key Responsibilities: - Design and implement scalable serverless applications using Node.js 18.x/20.x and AWS Lambda functions. - Develop clean, maintainable, and efficient code using TypeScript 5.x following industry best practices. - Create responsive frontend components using ReactJS 18.x when required for full-stack functionality. - Build and optimize RESTful APIs and microservices architecture to ensure high performance. - Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams using SCRUM methodology for iterative development. - Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to improve overall code quality. - Implement comprehensive testing strategies including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing. - Troubleshoot complex technical issues and implement effective solutions in production environments. - Stay current with evolving technologies and methodologies in the serverless ecosystem. - Document code, architectures, and technical processes for knowledge sharing and maintenance. Required Skills: - Minimum 3+ years of professional experience with Node.js development in production environments. - Demonstrated proficiency with AWS Lambda and serverless architecture principles. - Strong TypeScript skills with understanding of advanced language features and type systems. - Experience with ReactJS for frontend development and component-based architecture. - Practical knowledge of AWS services including API Gateway, DynamoDB, and CloudWatch. - Experience implementing and working with RESTful APIs and microservices. - Proficiency with version control systems, particularly Git and GitHub/GitLab workflows. - Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes. - Strong problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking. - Experience working within Agile/SCRUM development methodologies. - Excellent English communication skills (B2+ level) for effective collaboration. Nice to Have: - Experience with Serverless Framework or AWS CDK for infrastructure as code. - Knowledge of Express.js, NestJS, or similar Node.js frameworks. - Familiarity with NoSQL databases beyond DynamoDB (MongoDB, Cassandra). - Understanding of GraphQL and Apollo Server implementation. - Experience with message queuing systems (SQS, SNS, Kafka). - Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes. - Experience with performance optimization for serverless applications. - Background in test-driven development practices. - Contributions to open-source projects or personal GitHub portfolio.
