Key Responsibilities

- Architect and execute comprehensive test scenarios for complex components within Autonomous Storage and Retrieval Systems.

- Develop sophisticated integration testing protocols across hardware-software boundaries.

- Implement automated validation suites that ensure consistent quality across product iterations.

- Design edge-case testing strategies that anticipate real-world challenges.

- Collaborate with product management to thoroughly understand customer workflows and operational patterns.

- Proactively develop test methodologies that ensure robustness in diverse deployment environments.

- Create detailed documentation of system behaviors under various conditions.

- Establish performance benchmarks based on customer usage patterns.

- Report system defects with precise reproduction steps and environmental context.

- Partner with software engineering to verify resolution effectiveness.

- Enable field engineers through comprehensive deployment guides and troubleshooting protocols.

- Serve as the critical technical bridge between on-site implementation teams and development groups.

- Analyze testing metrics to identify systemic quality patterns.

- Contribute to CI/CD pipeline optimization for robotics applications.

- Participate in post-deployment reviews to refine quality assurance methodologies.

Required Skills

- Minimum 5+ years' experience in robotics quality assurance or comparable complex systems testing.

- Demonstrated proficiency with ROS (Robot Operating System) and ROS 2 frameworks and tools.

- Practical expertise in web application testing methodologies and techniques.

- Proven experience testing large-scale heterogeneous systems with multiple interdependent components.

- Exceptional analytical capabilities with demonstrated ability to decompose complex problems.

- Advanced proficiency in Linux/Unix environments and command-line operations.

- Demonstrated adaptability in acquiring proficiency with emerging technologies.

- Working knowledge of networking concepts, protocols, and diagnostics (TCP/IP, UDP, WebSockets).

- Self-directed work approach with ability to translate strategic objectives into tactical test plans.

- Superior communication skills, including translating technical concepts for diverse audiences.

- Advanced degree in Robotics Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline.

- Experience with simulation environments for robotic systems testing (Gazebo, Webots).
