We are seeking a strategic Lead Consultant/Architect to spearhead our SAP ERP implementations for retail enterprises. Key Responsibilities: - Meticulously gather and analyze complex business requirements for SAP ERP system enhancements and implementations. - Architect comprehensive technical solutions within the SAP ERP ecosystem, with particular focus on MM/SD modules and integration points. - Develop detailed functional specifications for system improvements and independently perform sophisticated system configurations when required. - Configure and troubleshoot SAP MM/SD modules including roles, authorizations, IDOCs, and utilize ABAP debugging techniques to resolve complex issues. - Orchestrate seamless integrations between SAP modules and external systems, with particular emphasis on EDI implementations for retail environments. - Execute thorough functional and integration testing protocols to ensure solution integrity prior to deployment. - Provide expert-level support for critical incidents, demonstrating a proactive approach to system stability (25% of role). - Facilitate knowledge transfer sessions with stakeholders and technical teams to ensure solution adoption. Required Skills & Experience: - 3-6 years of hands-on experience implementing and configuring SAP ERP systems, with specialized focus on MM/SD modules. - Demonstrable expertise in SAP MM module configuration including procurement processes, inventory management, and vendor master data governance. - Proficient knowledge of SAP SD functionalities including pricing procedures, output determination, and customer-facing processes. - Proven capability in working with SAP roles, authorizations, IDOCs, and ABAP debugging for issue resolution. - Comprehensive understanding of procurement business processes, including service procurement, fixed asset acquisition, and inventory management under SPP elements. - Verifiable experience implementing SAP solutions in retail sector environments (mandatory). - Practical knowledge of system integration approaches, particularly with EDI/EDI operators (highly desirable). - Working understanding of electronic digital signature principles and implementation frameworks. - Exceptional analytical thinking and methodical problem-solving capabilities. - Advanced communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders. Nice to Have: - Experience with SAP S/4HANA implementations and migrations. - Certification in SAP MM and/or SD modules. - Familiarity with additional SAP modules that interface with MM/SD (e.g., FI/CO, WM, PP). - Practical knowledge of SAP Fiori applications and UX design principles. - Background in agile implementation methodologies for enterprise systems. - Experience with retail-specific configurations such as POS integration, merchandise management, and retail analytics. - Previous work in global organizations with multi-country implementations. - Knowledge of SAP Cloud Platform integration solutions.
