Senior SAP EWM Architect & Lead Consultant | Remote Position

Are you an experienced SAP Extended Warehouse Management specialist seeking a challenging remote opportunity? We're looking for a seasoned SAP EWM Architect/Lead Consultant with proven implementation experience to join our dynamic team. Key Responsibilities - Conduct comprehensive analysis of existing warehouse management business processes and develop strategic optimization proposals leveraging SAP EWM best practices. - Design and develop detailed functional specifications for SAP EWM implementations, ensuring alignment with business requirements and industry standards. - Lead end-to-end testing initiatives including unit, integration, and user acceptance testing to ensure robust EWM solution delivery. - Oversee successful system commissioning and go-live activities, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal business disruption. - Provide expert-level support to SAP EWM users, troubleshooting complex issues and implementing innovative solutions. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify process improvement opportunities within the warehouse management ecosystem. - Develop and maintain technical documentation for implemented solutions, including configuration guides and standard operating procedures. - Stay current with SAP EWM updates, enhancements, and new features (SAP EWM 9.5, S/4HANA 2022, etc.) to maximize system capabilities. Required Skills & Experience - Minimum 3 years of hands-on SAP EWM implementation and development experience. - Demonstrated success in multiple SAP EWM projects, from requirements gathering through deployment. - Strong understanding of warehouse management processes including inbound/outbound logistics, internal warehouse operations, and inventory management. - Proficiency in SAP EWM configuration, including master data setup, process configuration, and integration with other SAP modules. - Experience with SAP S/4HANA embedded EWM implementations and/or standalone EWM systems. - Solid knowledge of warehouse management business processes and best practices across various industries. - Proven ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions. - Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently while maintaining accountability for results. - Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Nice to Have - SAP certification in EWM or related modules. - Experience with SAP EWM mobile solutions and RF device integration. - Knowledge of SAP Fiori applications for EWM. - Familiarity with SAP TM (Transportation Management) integration. - Experience with Material Flow System (MFS) and automation equipment integration. - Background in ABAP development or SAP technical architecture. - Experience with EWM-specific enhancements like Labor Management, Yard Management, or Value-Added Services. - Understanding of cloud deployment options for SAP EWM solutions.
