Senior SAP EWM Architect/Lead Consultant | Remote Position

Key Responsibilities: - Analyze complex warehouse and logistics business processes, formulating comprehensive optimization strategies tailored to specific client requirements. - Design and architect robust SAP EWM solutions that integrate seamlessly with existing SAP landscapes, particularly S/4HANA environments. - Develop detailed functional specifications (FS) and oversee their successful implementation through rigorous testing protocols. - Conduct thorough system testing, encompassing unit, integration, and user acceptance testing to ensure solution quality and performance. - Manage commissioning activities, facilitating smooth transitions from development to production environments. - Provide strategic guidance to implementation teams throughout the project lifecycle. - Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for SAP EWM configurations, customizations, and business processes. - Collaborate cross-functionally with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives. - Deliver occasional user support to resolve complex SAP EWM issues (minimal engagement required). - Remain current with SAP EWM innovations, particularly with the latest S/4HANA 2023 enhancements. Required Skills and Experience: - Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with SAP EWM implementation, configuration, and development. - Verifiable success in multiple SAP EWM implementation or development projects. - Comprehensive understanding of warehouse processes, including inbound/outbound logistics, internal warehouse operations, and cross-docking. - Proficiency in core SAP EWM modules such as warehouse structure, resource management, wave management, and labor management. - Experience integrating SAP EWM with other SAP modules (MM, SD, PP, TM). - Familiarity with both SAP S/4HANA embedded EWM and decentralized EWM architectures. - Knowledge of ABAP development for EWM customizations and enhancements. - Experience with SAP Fiori/SAPUI5 for EWM applications. - Demonstrated ability to create precise technical and functional design documents. - Independence and responsibility for results, with proven project ownership capabilities. Nice to Have: - SAP EWM certification or advanced training credentials. - Experience with SAP EWM MFS (Material Flow System) integration. - Knowledge of RF (Radio Frequency) device configuration and implementation. - Expertise with SAP EWM BOPF (Business Object Processing Framework). - Background implementing EWM Labor Management features. - Experience with SAP Cloud Platform integration for EWM solutions. - Knowledge of SAP IBP (Integrated Business Planning) integration with EWM.
