We're seeking an experienced Senior System Administrator to join our global automotive tire manufacturing company. 

In this remote position, you'll oversee mission-critical Microsoft infrastructure, implement industry best practices, and deliver exceptional technical support while ensuring maximum system reliability and performance across our enterprise environment.


Key Responsibilities

- Monitor and maintain OnPrem infrastructure systems ensuring 99.99% uptime for business-critical applications and services.

- Administer Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (MECM/SCCM 2203) for comprehensive endpoint management across global locations.

- Implement and maintain Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT 8456) for standardized system provisioning and OS deployment.

- Manage Active Directory services including user provisioning, security group configuration, GPOs, and domain policies.

- Process and prioritize day-to-day service requests from Local System Administrators and Service Desk teams with efficiency.

- Provide advanced troubleshooting and technical expertise as 2nd level support for complex infrastructure issues.

- Respond to critical service outages promptly, including after-hours and weekend incidents when necessary.

- Design and develop scalable infrastructure architecture solutions aligned with business requirements and IT standards.

- Collaborate cross-functionally with development teams and business analysts to integrate new platforms and applications seamlessly.

- Implement robust incident management procedures following ITIL best practices and industry standards.


Required Skills and Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent professional experience in IT infrastructure.

- 5+ years of hands-on experience in system administration with Microsoft enterprise technologies.

- In-depth understanding of Digital Workplace solutions and related applications (AD, ADFS, Exchange, Microsoft 365).

- Advanced PowerShell scripting skills for automation, reporting, and system management tasks.

- Extensive experience managing Exchange Server 2016/2019 on-premise environments.

- Proven track record in troubleshooting and resolving complex infrastructure problems efficiently.

- Comprehensive knowledge of Office 365 suite across multiple platforms (Windows, macOS, iOS, Android).

- Expertise in patch management, vulnerability assessment, and system lifecycle management.

- Working knowledge of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols.

- Experience with Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 administration and configuration.

- Familiarity with virtualization technologies (Hyper-V, VMware vSphere 7.x).

- Strong analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.

- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with technical and business stakeholders.

- Ability to work independently while contributing productively in team environments.

- Strong task prioritization skills and ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.

- Demonstrated accountability for results and commitment to service excellence.

- Fluent English communication skills (written and verbal).


Nice to Have

- Microsoft certifications (MCSE, Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert, Azure Administrator).

- Experience with cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).

- Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

- Familiarity with monitoring solutions (SCOM, Nagios, Zabbix, SolarWinds).

- Experience with infrastructure automation tools (Ansible, Terraform, Chef, Puppet).

- Background in automotive or manufacturing IT environments.

- ITIL v4 Foundation certification or practical experience with ITIL frameworks.

- Information security certification (Security+, CISSP) or equivalent experience.

- Experience with SQL Server administration and database management.
