Senior System Analyst - Remote BPMN & API Testing Specialist

In this remote position, you'll serve as the crucial link between stakeholders and development teams while crafting meticulous documentation that propels successful project implementation. Key Responsibilities - Procure and document comprehensive business requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and scrutiny of existing documentation. - Craft professional BPMN 2.0 diagrams — utilizing tools such as Camunda Modeler, Cawemo, or Lucidchart — to visualize complex business processes. - Examine and validate APIs using Postman or SOAP UI, encompassing setup of environment variables, collections, and automated test scenarios. - Structure and augment information obtained from clients and subject matter experts into thorough requirement specifications. - Formulate unambiguous project objectives and user stories for development teams adhering to Agile methodologies. - Furnish ongoing analytical support throughout the development lifecycle, including requirements elucidation and impediment resolution. - Showcase completed solutions to stakeholders and orchestrate project acceptance processes. - Generate supporting artifacts including (but not limited to) workflow diagrams, data models, user guides, and technical specifications. - Collaborate efficaciously with cross-functional teams to ensure congruence between business imperatives and technical implementation. - Uphold requirements traceability and change management processes throughout the project lifecycle. Required Skills & Experience - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field. - Minimum 2 years of professional experience as a System Analyst or Business Analyst. - Demonstrated proficiency in business process modeling utilizing BPMN 2.0 standards. - Hands-on experience with API testing via Postman (including variables and collections) or SOAP UI. - Robust visualization acumen with experience employing tools like Lucidchart, Draw.io, Miro, or analogous platforms. - Exemplary verbal and written communication skills with the capacity to elucidate complex concepts with clarity. - Active listening skills with verified ability to collect and interpret stakeholder requirements. - Experience creating meticulous documentation including process flows, requirements specifications, and user stories. - Capability to function autonomously in a remote environment while sustaining robust collaboration with distributed teams. - Incisive thinking skills with meticulous attention to detail and dedication to quality deliverables. Nice to Have - SQL knowledge for data analysis and database query construction. - Experience with Atlassian tools — particularly Confluence for documentation and Jira for project management. - Familiarity with GitLab or alternative version control systems for documentation management. - Agile certification (such as CSPO, CSM) or experience operating in Scrum/Agile environments. - Domain expertise in fintech, e-commerce, or enterprise software development. - Experience with user experience (UX) research or usability testing. - Proficiency in data modeling techniques and experience with database design. - Acquaintance with programming concepts and software development lifecycle.
