UI/UX Designer for Moodle LMS | Remote Educational Platform

Key Responsibilities - Reimagine the Moodle LMS interface with innovative, intuitive design solutions. - Develop comprehensive user personas and journey maps to address diverse educational needs. - Create wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for new platform features. - Design responsive interfaces ensuring flawless experiences across devices (desktop, tablet, mobile). - Establish a cohesive design system that maintains visual consistency throughout the platform. - Craft engaging animations and micro-interactions that enhance learning engagement. - Collaborate with development teams to ensure precise implementation of design vision. - Conduct user testing sessions and iterate designs based on qualitative feedback. - Design accessible interfaces compliant with WCAG 2.1 AA standards. - Develop clear, compelling infographics that transform complex information into visual learning aids. - Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning and reviews. Required Skills - 5+ years of professional UI/UX design experience with a portfolio showcasing educational or LMS projects. - Demonstrated experience working with Moodle 4.x or similar learning management systems. - Proficiency in designing digital products from concept through implementation. - Advanced mastery of modern design tools (Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch). - Strong foundation in user-centered design methodologies and design thinking. - Experience creating and implementing comprehensive design systems. - Expertise in responsive and adaptive design for complex web applications. - Proficiency designing interactive prototypes and engaging animations. - Comprehensive knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1) and inclusive design principles. - Experience conducting user research and implementing usability testing methodologies. - Strong understanding of information architecture for educational contexts. - Ability to transform complex educational concepts into clear visual hierarchies. - Experience designing data visualizations and educational infographics. - Excellent communication skills with ability to articulate design decisions to stakeholders.
